This book is not for people that like happy endings or people that don't appreciate the works of Poe and other "dark" authors. This is probably my favorite book. What I loved about it? Everything. This is a book about unresolved passions and how they managed to ruin everything and everyone around them.
Heathcliff is a "dark" solitary man whose only interest is winning the eyes of Catherine Earnshaw, a beautiful young girl, who is also his best friend. When she marries Edgar Linton, Heathcliff is resolved to (literally) make their lives hell. And he does, but also destroys himself in the end.
