Was so glad to see they are still making this book and I love the new edition. A great story with a great message that works on a couple of levels, depending on which way you want to take it.
For the age group, I think it's a good way to teach about unconditional love. Yes, I know there are other interpretations of this book and you may be subconsciously teaching your kids that it's ok to have no boundaries or something, but I think at this age, you can spin it in the way that you want it and work out the finer details later.
