I thought that she was a superb author until I found out about her acceptance of the Dan David award for $10 million at Tel Aviv University. I thought she was an anti-colonialist and anti-racists. The book is good, but it turns out the author is a bad person. You can't pick and choose which certain racisms, certain colonial-settler projects, are more acceptable than others.
