Ms. Rinehart starts out as tho this is a child's story, but it seems to be a mixture of a children's tale, a light adult story and then a mystery/adventure. The story is written with charm and humor. Light reading, yes, but I found it hard to put down. I believe children could enjoy the story also. It is easy reading. The little prince is a very lonely little boy with a very big future. All he would like to do is have the life of a normal boy once in a while. His grandfather is dying, he is next on the throne and he is in danger. I have found Ms. Rinehart's writing to be excellent. Her books all seem to be quite different from each other, they are written in such a manner that the time period does not make the stories feel "old-fashioned".Get more detail about Long Live the King.
